The housing stock here is unforgiving. Century-old brick two-flats, bungalows with knob-and-tube attics, converted third floors and additions that were never in the original plan. Equipment specs written for a new build in a mild climate do not survive contact with any of it.
So we measure. Heat loss, airflow, static pressure, insulation depth, where the air is actually leaving. Then we quote what the building needs — which is sometimes less than you were expecting, and we will say so.
